History

Clook Internet is a trading style of sub⁶ Incorporated (USA) and sub⁶ Limited (England and Wales). The company came into existence in May of 2002 after running as a sole proprietorship since November of 2001. We started with simple shared hosting services and began offering multiple domain accounts towards the end of 2002. This is when things really began to grow with more servers being added on a leased basis. Since this time we have gone from strength to strength adding more services such as Virtuozzo based VPS's and moving into the arena of purchasing all of our own equipment instead of leasing.

Present Day

At the current time we have 7 colocation racks at US and UK based data facilities housing over 150 separate owned servers. From the early days of 1-2 people in charge of most tasks we now have a larger workforce comprising of nine customer facing employees who, among other things, provide full 24/7 technical support to all clients. Growth has continued since day one with the last 1-2 years being extremely busy seeing huge increases in all areas of the company including customer numbers, active accounts, revenue, profit and tax bills!

The Future

We firmly believe in making sure we do not grow too fast because it is all too common to see companies expand very quickly resulting in major problems. For this reason while we intend to continue growing at a nice rate, we have no plans for world wide domination of the hosting market just yet and prefer to keep our level of service at the highest level while quietly doubling in size over 1-2 years as we have done during the last 1-2 years. Along with our plans for growth we have some exciting new services/products in the pipeline which clients will hear about soon.
